We Made It!!

Our last few days in Idaho were spent cleaning, finishing classes, and packing up the trailer. I walked in the Friday night commencement ceremony where Elder Cook spoke. I decided to skip the Saturday walking when they actually read your name because it was all pretty boring and we were antsy to get on the road. We left Rexburg Saturday morning and stopped overnight. We got to Neenah around 1 am on Monday morning. Sophie and Mikey both did great on the road trip, although they did not eat or drink much until we stopped for the night on Saturday. It was really warm the whole way, too, and we thought that Monica's ice cream was not going to make it :(....but it did! Overall it was a good trip and I don't want to do it again anytime soon. Thanks so much to my parents for coming!! We most definitely could NOT have made it back here without their help!

Here's some pictures from our adventures getting to Wisconsin...

17 Days and Counting

We are almost officially out of Rexburg forever! Yes, I am looking forward to it a LOT. We have a lot of things packed already and pretty much everything off the walls but we sure do have a lot more stuff to pack :(. That's okay, my parents will be here in two weeks and I have already managed to sell off our washer and dryer! I'm pretty pumped. Here's pictures of our progress so far...

One More Month!

One more month and we begin the real adventure of our lives. Being done with school is definitely a big life change and needless to say that our kitties are ready to hit the road ;) There are so many things that are going to change but we are definitely counting down the minutes until we are back in Wisconsin (who knew you could love a place so much until you left it?). It's going to be one heck of a long drive but we're so excited!!

My classes are going really well and the semester should finish smoothly. We have plans to start cleaning and packing some more next weekend during Thanksgiving break. Oh what fun!

Future Plans

Oliver graduated this past July with a degree in Arts, emphasis in graphic design and photography. I will be completing my classes in a month and a half and then an internship at Little Angel Child Care in Appleton (my degree will be in Child Development with a minor in Marriage and Family Studies). Yep, that means we are heading back to Wisconsin in oh about, 44 days. We are both very excited to be back in Wisconsin where people know how to drive and plow the snow off the roads in the winter and the mall takes more than 10 minutes to walk through. I am planning on working at Walgreens when we transfer at the store in Neenah.

My parents will be coming out to Idaho the last week of classes with a nice big trailer to put all our stuff in. We are set to leave December 17 and begin the very long drive to Wisconsin, in time for Christmas :D

Last Saturday...

Last Saturday was our real Halloween party. We invited lots of people (Cassie & Devon, Ben & Janessa, Elliott & Amy, Tonya & Timothy). We had some of Oliver's delicious pizzas along with some great salad from Elliott that was discovered over the summer from Grandma Rose. Then we carved pumpkins...

And went to the corn maze in Rigby...

We also learned that Mikey is really scared of pumpkins...but we put him in one just so he could face his fear.

Halloween

This Halloween was spent at Walgreens. Oliver took pictures at our annual photo shoot (which was a great success). There is a sample of what it looks like and my lovely bee costume (it's a classic). We also came home to find that our pumpkin had been smashed :(.

I went to get some of the clearance candy today and it is delicious. I must also add that I like being able to pick out only the good candy, even though I have to pay for it at least I don't have to eat any of those nasty peanut butter things.
I HAVE A BLOG!!!!!!!! AND IT LOOKS GOOD!!
